ODD ONE OUT

ODD ONE OUT is more than a knitwear label. It’s also a knit lab-studio and the founder’s own way of understanding the fashion industry.

Based in Barcelona, Alicia Gonzalez, is the founder, the creative mind and the knitter behind the label.

She’s a Computer Science Engineer recycled in knitwear designer. Graduated at LCI Barcelona, she has done internships as Design Assistant at Josep Font, Lydia Delgado and Guillermina Baeza, but it was during her internship at MANGO’s Knitwear Quality Assurance Department, where she discovered her passion: knitwear.

During her student years, she’s being selected as finalist in various competitions such as the Graduation Tour Bread & Butter 2008, Novia del Sur 2008, BdnModa 2010 and Pasarela Fortuny 2013, won the CYL magazine contest ‘Impulso' and has participated in Pierre Cardin’s masterclass, under the 080 Barcelona organization.

She attempts to capture her love for fashion, knitwear, textile design and handcraft techniques through ODD ONE OUT.
